It was decided that a more "brick" like design was needed, so, I did more "post it" roughs..
and once a direction was decided on, a tighter render was done...
with orthographics.
The exterior look packet was done by my friend Brian Beppu. He also did the interior concept designs and look packets of the command bridge and the ramp area that you see in the film.

After sitting with Sam and Jake the next step was to do tighter renders of some of the concepts that we liked.
If you saw the movie, you know that these didn't "fly".
So, it was back to the post it notes.
After working on Tenma's Limo and Elfuns car, I got a chance to design President Stones ship. Up to that point all the other ships were designed by Sam Michlap and I figured that they were all covered. So, when this one came my way I was pretty excited.
Being familiar with the design language of the film I thought it was time to have some fun. So back to the post it notes.
After sitting with the Sam and Jake, we decided which designs to flesh out.
These are just a few vehicles that did or didn't make it into the movie. I know the train did with some modifications but I don't remember seeing the bus or truck.
That's it for the ground vehicles. Next up, the flying stuff.
